New and efficient production services

Edita Prima provides new and efficient production services in the field of marketing communications. We are focusing on the production of targeted communications that utilize variable data. There is also growth in integrated multichannel communication solutions. In addition, we offer logistics and print management services.

Our customers seek solutions for developing their marketing communications, its efficiency and effectiveness. They represent a variety of industries, including banking and insurance, retail and services, travelling and public administration.

Our goal is to combine smartly print and digital online solutions. This creates opportunities for growth, and it is supported by the company’s strong data expertise and experience of automation and the integration of communication systems.

2013

The marketing communications market contracted in 2013. In particular, demand decreased for traditional mass printed products such as catalogues, magazines and printed advertising products. Total paper consumption declined by approximately six percent compared to 2012.

We continued to develop Edita Prima as an integrated multichannel service provider. The company’s net revenue declined, but profitability exceeded the target. The improved result was due to efficiency improvements and to the growing revenue from the integrated services.


2014

The market situation will remain challenging, as the use of digital channels continues to grow. However, the increasing demand for integrated and automated communication offers us a good opportunity for growth.

A forerunner in direct marketing in Sweden

Three of Nordic Morning’s subsidiaries merged in 2013 to form Edita Bobergs. The consolidation of Edita Västra Aros, Edita Bobergs and Edita Kampanjfabriken has created a new leader in print and specialized direct marketing.

The consolidated Edita Bobergs specializes in direct marketing and digital printing. Analyzing customer needs and using state-of-the art system solutions are the keys to creating unique and highly personalized products that help customers sell more. Edita Bobergs is a leader in direct marketing in Sweden.

The unique and highly specialized production processes allow us to create complex mailers and supplements, and have led to us being often involved in the entire campaign production and not just a supplier brought in when all the creative work is done.

By being a partner rather than a supplier, Edita Bobergs can provide customers with unique packaging and mailers that can be distributed physically and digitally.

As technology matures, and as more focus is placed on the individual, direct marketing and the ability to personalize all its elements will allow businesses to reach their customers in a unique and personal way that suits the customer’s lifestyle.

Our customers tend to be large businesses that are dependent on printed marketing material mainly in Sweden, but covering the Nordics for some customers. We produce direct marketing material, so that our customers can reach their customers with personalized information, and some of our material helps our larger customers with internal communication.

Direct marketing is a growing industry with increasing emphasis on individualization and on digital and print solutions. Direct marketing helps our customers sell their products, and we provide them with customized solutions.

2013

The print market has been declining by about 12 to 15 percent per year in Sweden in the past years, and the last 12 months have been no different. A lot of consolidation is going on within the print business.

The consolidation of Edita Västra Aros, Edita Bobergs and Edita Kampanjfabriken took place on October 1, 2013. The resulting company will have production facilities in Falun and Veddesta, as well as a customer services and sales office in Västerås.

The first three months since the merger have well exceeded expectations in terms of continued profitability.


2014

There are lots of prospects with new customers and new services, and Edita Bobergs will work more closely with Edita Prima in Finland, exchanging expertise and ideas with each other to continue to be a strong player in the direct marketing.
